Solid State
Video Recorder

The SSDVR records 6 video channels and 4 Avionics Discrete Inputs. It uses a removable memory module for synchronized recording of Video, Audio & Data, storing up to 4 hours of recordings. The files are in a standard format and support on-board playback. Originally for LCH platform, it can be adapted for any airborne or ground platform.

Tail Rotor Vibration
Warning System

The TRVS monitors tail rotor vibration in rotary wing aircraft, providing visual warnings for preset vibration limits. It tracks both axial and radial vibrations on the tail rotor, displaying warnings with AMBER and RED lamps in the cockpit. The unit triggers the appropriate lamp based on current vibration levels, with warnings from both channels combined. Analog outputs are also available for recording on the aircraft's FDR system.

Solid State Flight Data Recording System

The SSFDRS comprises a Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) and a Solid State Crash Worthy Data Recorder, designed for easy adaptability across diverse airborne platforms for flight data recording. Utilizing a handheld Data Download Unit, data from the FDRS can be conveniently downloaded and analyzed on Ground Station Equipment (GSE) with advanced analysis and report generation features provided by Merlinhawk's application software. With 105 units successfully manufactured and installed, the system has been deployed on the MiG 21/23 aircraft for the Indian Air Force.

MERLINE - Quick
Access Recorder

MERLINE, a compact data recorder, is tailored for diverse airborne platforms with a design emphasizing easy and quick accessibility, earning it the name 'Quick Access Recorder.' Configurable to interface with various data streams like ARINC 717/573/429 and RS422/RS232, MERLINE records data on a removable Compact Flash Card, ensuring convenient transfer to ground station systems. Alternatively, data download is facilitated via a USB interface. This versatile recorder provides a seamless solution for efficiently capturing and managing critical data in aviation operations.

Flight Data
Transfer Unit

The FDTU, designed for Mi-17 helicopter, IL-76, and IL-78 aircraft, records flight data alongside the existing Flight Data Recording System (FDR). It gathers data from the Flight Data Acquisition Unit, decodes it, and records onto a removable Compact Flash memory card.
